About
Rónán Martel is a public health practitioner and researcher who believes the purpose of public health is not just describing, but actively creating the conditions for people to live healthy, fulfilling lives.

He is currently a part-time graduate student at Memorial’s Department of Political Science where he studies the health impacts of policies and power structures and the political processes through which they might be changed.
